Using a structured curriculum, students refine grammar, style, and vocabulary while evaluating complex literary and informational texts across multiple sources and formats. Students will produce sustained research-based writing, present ideas clearly, and integrate evidence responsibly. Instruction remains rooted in a biblical worldview, equipping students to communicate with purpose, discernment, and confidence in alignment with God’s truth.
Math
Math 5
This course develops mathematical understanding through problem solving and real-world application. Students will study concepts such as numerical expressions, patterns, place value, multi-digit whole number operations, fractions, data representation, and geometry. Instruction is grounded in a biblical worldview, emphasizing order, logic, and consistency as part of God’s design. Students are encouraged to practice diligence, honesty, and perseverance while using mathematics as a tool for stewardship and service.
Math 6
Students will progress from elementary math skills to more complex concepts. Building on foundational skills such as computation and problem solving skills, students will be introduced to new concepts such as statistics and basic algebraic equations. Students will learn how to apply these concepts to real world situations while seeing how God allows man to use math as a tool in creation.
Fundamentals of Math Grade 7
Students will begin transitioning from arithmetic to algebraic thinking, with core topics covering proportional relationships, rational number operations, expressions, equations, and geometry. Key units usually include percentages, probability, and introductory algebra, aiming to build foundational skills for high school math. Students will explore mathematical human activity in relation to God’s orderly creation.
Pre-Algebra Grade 8
Students will begin preparing for high school algebra. Pre-algebra content is taught emphasizing linear equations, functions, geometric transformations, and irrational numbers. Core topics include solving systems of equations, understanding slope, Pythagorean Theorem, exponents, and volume. A biblical worldview is taught through creation, the fall and redemption.
Science
Science 5
Fifth Grade Science develops student understanding of life science, physical science, and Earth and space science through observation, investigation, and hands-on learning.
